A short conversation outside a grocery store.
Animated in Blender 2.8.
Loiter Talk was made in a weekend after the line about the cactus popped into my head and wouldn’t leave. It ended up being a crash course in dialogue, paper puppet making, digitization, and Blender animation all in one go. Although it’s more directly comedic than most of my work, I’ve heard arguments about whether there are actually any ‘jokes’ in it.
I owe Loiter Talk thanks for being the portfolio piece that got me accepted into college. I went out on a limb submitting a minute-long dialogue as a faithful summary of my work at the time, but I guess there was enough magic in it to get me on someone’s good side.
